Having started photography in January 2007, Jijo de Guzman is a professional photographer, photography instructor, mentor, consultant, and resource person. He has been teaching and mentoring aspiring photographers for the past 14 years and has worked with the Asia-Pacific Film Institute, STI Colleges, Philippine Center for Creative Imaging, and De La Salle University. Currently, he is a Brand Ambassador for Canon Philippines and Raptor Case, a key opinion leader for SanDisk and Benro, and a "Loweprofessional" for Lowepro. He has won over 60 awards and is a 3-time Master Photographer of the Year of the Camera Club of the Philippines, the oldest camera club in Asia. He has also won an Anvil Award for Advertising Photography.
Being one of the most sought-after photography resource persons in the country, he has also worked with PAGCOR, Ayala Corporation, the Associated Press, GMA News, ABS-CBN, History Channel, the Department of Tourism, TESDA, and other reputable organizations. Focusing on Sports, Travel, Street, Landscapes, Nature, and Lifestyle, he is a highly respected multi-genre shooter. The latest addition to his list of accolades is his recent win of the top prize in the 1st Batanes International Photography Awards last June 2025.
